Missing East Lothian man's disappearance 'out of character' say family

The family of missing man from East Lothian say his disappearance is "out of character". Alex Elliot was last seen on Sunday evening in Musselburgh and has not been in touch with family or friends, police say.

The 23-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 11in in height, of slim build with brown hair.When last seen he was wearing a mint green t-shirt, black shorts and black trainers.Alex has access to a black Seat Leon, registration AY65PLN and is known to frequent Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and Scottish Borders.Sergeant Murray Legge said: “It’s out of character for Alex not to be in touch with his family or friends.

We just want to know he is safe and well. His family are very worried.“If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Alex or who has seen his vehicle is asked to contact police.”Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2149 of 15 August, 2022.
