Michelle Keegan opens up on 'madness' of working with Fool Me Once co-star and secret 'obsession'

Former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan opened up on her brand new Netflix series, which has taken viewers by storm, and said she had a secret obsession with thrillers.

Chatting with Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark on Wednesday's This Morning, Michelle looked as stunning as ever as she shared details about Fool Me Once.The binge-worthy series, based on Harlan Coben's novel of the same name, is an eight part thriller and stars Richard Armitage, Joanna Lumley and Adeel Akhtar.

As Michelle gushed about the storyline, she also opened up about her relationship with actress Dame Joanna Lumley. Rylan pointed out their characters "don't have the best relationship in the show", before Michelle said: "When I'm working with Joanna I get so excited about our scenes because we go head to head, because they are both really strong females and they don't back down and I think that's why they clash so much." She added: "When I was younger I used to go round to my cousins house a lot and she was obsessed with Ab Fab (Absolutely Fabulous), and I remember watching it when I was younger and thought 'imagine if someone told me in a few years, in 20 years time, you'd be playing her daughter in law' it's madness." Michelle added that while Joanna is "professional" so is also "really funny".

Michelle also revealed that she read the book before she started filming for the 8-part Netflix show and said she was "obsessed" with thrillers.The brunette admitted she loved the book so much that she finished it in two days while she was on holiday.The storyline of the latest hit show follows Maya Stern (played by Michelle) who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Richard).
