Hollywood star Michael Sheen has reportedly settled the personal debts of hundreds of members of the public in what has been described as an 'extraordinary gesture'.
The Welsh actor, who recently portrayed Prince Andrew in Amazon Prime's 'A Very Royal Scandal', is now reaching out to those he has anonymously aided financially.
Famous not just for his acting but also for his philanthropic efforts, Sheen has a lengthy track record of charity work. He has served as a UNICEF UK ambassador since 2014, selling his houses to ensure that the 2019 Homeless World Cup took place in Cardiff, and promising £50,000 over five years to launch a scholarship for Welsh pupils attending Oxford University, reports Wales Online.
