Michael Schumacher is set to undergo treatment which is believed to help him ‘return to a more normal life’, former Ferrari boss, Jean Todt,  has said.

Following his skiing accident in 2013, Michael was left with a horrific brain injury and has been in recovery ever since. He has been fighting to overcome his injuries over the past seven years and now it looks like he has a new treatment plan.

The Formula 1 legend’s condition and progress have been kept a closely guarded secret by his family with only a handful of people allowed to visit him.

Michael Schumacher and Jean Todt became close friends during their time at Ferrari and the current FIA president is one of the few people who knows how the German is getting on.
