Despite stepping back as senior royals in January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept their regal connections alive.

They've even clung to their dukedom, with their offspring still eligible for Prince and Princess titles, while partaking in 'semi-royal' tours.Nonetheless, since Queen Elizabeth II's death in September 2022, Meghan hasn't joined Harry on trips to the UK.

However, a leading Royal commentator has hinted that this does not signify an end to her Royal affinities.Jennie Bond, the ex-BBC Royal reporter, told OK!: "If Meghan is encouraging Harry to leave the past behind and move on, then I think it is a healthy move.

They have made their decision, left the working Royal Family and left the UK," adding "Brooding on the perceived injustices of the past and reliving old quarrels is a waste of a life, and I think Meghan sees that."While Meghan supports Harry's wish to keep his British bonds, Jennie notes that Meghan can more readily let go of her brief Royal identity, reports the Mirror.
