Meet Actor Filipe Cates, Who Plays Astrid’s Dream [SPOILER] in ‘Beetlejuice 2’ Final Scene

The actor was seen on set with Jenna Ortega back in July 2023, filming what appeared to be a wedding scene, and with the movie out now, we know more about his character.
Spoilers ahead… Keep reading to find out more… At the end of the movie, we get a glimpse into the future and learn that Lydia (Winona Ryder) and Astrid (Ortega) have repaired their relationship and go on the adventures that Astrid has planned on doing with her late father.
Upon a visit to Dracula’s Castle in Romania, Astrid sees a boy working there who ends up becoming her husband… but we soon find out this is just a dream sequence.
