Martin Lewis is urging millions of people to take action as they risk missing out on more than £1,000. The money-saving expert said more than two million are missing out on a tax break worth £1,256 and they only have until April 5 to get it before it's gone forever.

He exclaimed that they should "stop making excuses" and fill in the application form. Couples can get up to £252 this tax year, however, the claim can also be backdated to 2019/20, making it worth £1,256.
