Mark Owen had to make a hasty exit after a gig because of a fire alert nearby. The Take That star, 50, had played Glasgow’s Fruitmarket on Tuesday evening but returned to his hotel afterwards in a bathrobe.
He stepped into a chauffeur-driven car as firefighters responded to a fire alarm system alert in Albion Street.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service checked the building and there was no sign of fire.Owen was playing the Fruitmarket on October 18 as part of a solo show in the city centre after he announced a run of select shows in the Autumn to celebrate the release of his new record 'Land of Dreams'.
