Confident Mark Fotheringham has declared he is the man to challenge Celtic and Rangers for the Scottish title - if he is handed a top job in Scotland.
Fotheringham spent time coaching in Germany - most notably acting as assistant manager to Felix Magath at Hertha Berlin - and was recently working as part of Jurgen Klinsmann's backroom staff with the South Korea international side - before the German was sacked - following an ill-fated five month spell at Huddersfield.
He took over the hot seat with the side struggling in the English Championship - and failed to drag them out of relegation trouble leaving with the club in 22nd spot in the table.
However, the former Dundee and Ross County midfielder insists he would be the man to challenge Rangers and Celtic if he is given the nod by a Scottish Premiership club.
