Margaret Cho is opening up about her decision to forgive Jay Leno over his past racist jokes about Asians.

The 52-year-old comedian spoke to Entertainment Weekly and talked about her appearance on his motorhead series for CNBC, Jay Leno’s Garage. Click inside to see what Margaret Cho shared… In response to the question on if she booked her appearance before or after his apology, she said that “Asian jokes go over my head because I’ve heard so many of them.

I do a noise-cancelling thing with them.” Margaret added that she “booked Jay quite a while ago. For him to step up and take respon­sibility is very meaningful.
