Prime Minister was probed by the SNP 's Westminster leader Ian Blackford during fiery PMQs in the House of Commons earlier today.
Johnson was repeatedly accused by opposition MPs that he and the Home Secretary Priti Patel had emboldened thugs to racially abuse three England players after they missed penalties in the Euro 2020 final against Italy on Sunday.
Labour leader Keir Starmer and Blackford cornered the PM for his lack of support for the England player's anti-racism stance before games.
Blackford dug up Johnson’s own past comments from a 2002 Daily Telegraph column where he described Africans as “flag waving piccaninnies with watermelon smiles”.The SNP MP said: "Where there is racism it falls on all of us to face it down and to call.
