Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Brian Brough, 34, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of rape, section 18 assault and burglary. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Crown Court (Crown Square) on Friday 23 April 2021.
In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 10.30am on Saturday 20 March 2021, police received a report of an aggravated burglary and rape at an address in Little Hulton, Salford."
