Greater Manchester Police say it relates to an incident in Fallowfield on 14 November last year. In a statement, GMP said officers received a report of 'racially aggravated public order' two days later on 16 November.
An investigation was launched and Mohammad Akram, 54, of Plodder Lane, Bolton, and Christopher Worden, 56, of Old Road, Failsworth, have now both been charged with racially or religiously aggravated common assault by beating.
