Man charged with possessing explosive after hand grenade found on street

A man has been charged after a hand grenade was found on a street in Bury last month. The grenade was discovered on Randale Drive on September 29.

No injuries were reported. Shaun Anthony Offlands, of Esmond Street, Liverpool, has now been charged in relation to the incident, police said.
