The Honduran winger of Greek side Aris was linked with a move to Rangers earlier this summer but it's believed the Hoops have made a £3.5m move to land him.
Jota's departure to Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League earlier this summer has left a hole on the flanks and Brendan Rodgers made a call for more 'quality' to be added to his ranks after exiting the Viaplay Cup against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
And Greek outlet Sportime have claimed that Aris have set his exit 'figure' at €5m. That might be good news for the Hoops, as that comes in at roughly £4.2m, not far off the initial bid Celtic are claimed to have launched.
