Love Island star Adam Collard has revealed the harrowing experience of unwanted attention, leading to a situation where he and his girlfriend, Laura Woods, felt unsafe returning to their own home.
Despite rising to fame on the hit ITV2 dating show in 2018 and amassing a large fanbase, Adam, 28, has encountered the dark side of celebrity, with some admirers crossing boundaries into stalking behaviour.The Newcastle native disclosed that he has been targeted by multiple stalkers, who have gone to lengths such as finding out his gym location and sending unwanted gifts to his workplace.
While Adam admits that he sometimes finds the attention flattering, he draws the line at being followed. In a recent chilling incident, Adam and Laura had to deliberately avoid returning to their home after noticing they were being trailed by someone.
