Love Island fans couldn’t hide their amusement on Tuesday’s edition of the ITV2 dating show, when George Fensom made an unfortunate mistake while chatting to Molly Marsh.

The 24 year old who hails from Bedford, had been hoping to win over Doncaster stunner Molly, 21, as the pair soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed a relaxed chat.

Discussing the type of woman he would usually be drawn towards, George told Molly she was exactly the type of girl he would usually “levitate” towards. “On the outside, I would just levitate to a girl like you really,” he proudly told the blonde stunner, when in fact, the word he had been intending to say was “gravitate.” Although the slip up was only a minor gaffe, fans at home couldn’t stop laughing at the blunder as they took to social media to poke fun at the simple mistake.Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “That lad on love island saying he would levitate rather than gravitate is cracking me up hahahaah” A second agreed adding: “GEORGE BFFRRRRRR this isn’t Harry Potter.” Before a third viewer weighed in and commended: “He can levitate?!

Skills. Not to be confused with gravitate.” A fourth fan was also tickled by the exchange as they commented: “I would levitate towards you I spat out my drink.” While a fifth weighed in by adding: “I’d normally levitate towards a girl like you” bro acting like he’s in Hogwarts." While the gaffe no doubt tickled fans at home, it wasn’t the main revelation in the villa on the second day of the competition - as the newly established couples were soon tested to their limit, when bombshell Zachariah Noble stole Catherine Agbaje from André Furtado.
