A new sighting of the Loch Ness monster has emerged - but this time, not in the Scottish Highlands. The creature was instead spotted on a highway in the US.The bizarre sighting took place following hurricane Beryl, a category 5 Atlantic hurricane.
After storms of this nature, it is known for odd and random things to show up on the roadways, as reported by What's The Jam.Over the years, zoo animals, reptiles, cars, trees and even boats have appeared miles from where they should be.
But it surely the first time a storm has thrown up a Loch Ness Monster sighting more than 4,000 miles from her supposed home in the murky depths in Scotland. An image shows the ‘creature’ sitting in the first lane of the Interstate 45 at Crosstimbers Street leaving drivers stunned...even if it's most likely just a bit of debris thrown up by the storm.“Pretty sure that the Loch Ness monster was just spotted in the number one lane of traffic on I45 SB at Cross timbers,” read the caption of a Facebook post by Houston Police Officers Union.“Makes sense.”The post has so far attracted over 4,600 likes, as well as 130 comments from baffled users.
In the snap, cars appear to be driving past and billboards appear to have been blown over in the background. But it is Nessie who captures everyone’s attention. One woman joked: “That’s the Hot Mess Monster!”Tommy added: “I saw it and was like what the hell is this?”Larry commented: “Best photo evidence I’ve ever seen.”Mactavish said: “I’m sure she is just out trying to have a relaxing day and here the paparazzi go ruining it.”Jennifer wrote: “I think that’s Nessie’s baby.”Amy added: “Ahh it’s a baby monster.”Hilary said: “Hurricanes blow some weird things in.”The creature appeared on Monday last week July 8.
