Limp Bizkit have confirmed that they are back in the studio working on a new album.As reported by Consequence Of Sound, the band’s frontman Fred Durst shared an update on the band’s official Instagram Stories.
In the story, Durst is seen with drummer John Otto tracking drums in a studio.“Oh shit, in the studio with John Otto … we ’bout to lay it down with those drumsticks dawg,” Durst said. “Let’s get that funky funky.
Let’s get that Limp Bizkit popping off.” A second Insta Story shared saw Otto playing a snappy beat with a caption that read: “HUMAN DRUM MACHINE.”The new album would serve as a follow-up to Limp Bizkit’s 2021 LP ‘Still Sucks’.
The album marked their first full-length release in a decade, following on from 2011’s ‘Gold Cobra’.A post shared by Live Nation Concerts (@livenation)Elsewhere, the band are set to embark on Metallica’s ‘M79’ world tour early next year as opening support.
