Library staff and customers raise vital funds for St Andrew's Hospice with coffee morning

A coffee morning held earlier this month at Wishaw Library raised an "amazing amount" for a great cause in Lanarkshire.Staff and customers at the council facility, situated in the town’s Houldsworth Centre, raised £850 which was handed over to St Andrew’s Hospice.As well as being able to enjoy a hot drink and a selection of home baking on offer, there was a tombola; a “guess the teddy’s birthday” competition; and a raffle with a Christmas hamper prize to be won.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The hospice is needing as much money as they can get just now.
