Late Late viewers stunned by story of reunited siblings left in phone boxes 50 years ago

Viewers of last night’s Late Late show were left with their jaws on the floor after hearing the incredible story of three Irish siblings, abandoned on either side of the border as babies, reunited after 50 years apart.

Those who tuned in to the chat show learned that the two of the siblings found each other through DNA testing during an appearance on the popular programme Long Lost Family.

In a bid to find out who their parents were, David McBride and Helen Ward, made an appearance on the ITV show to find answers after five decades of wondering.

Chatting to the three guests, host Ryan Tubridy, who described the story as ‘extraordinary,’ learned that David had been left in the front seat of a car on the outskirts of Belfast in January 1962,
