Kilmarnock woman's bid to transform part of her home into a commercial nail bar has been refused by council planning bosses for a second time.
Gemma Maberly wanted turn her garage into a beauty salon under plans submitted to East Ayrshire Council chiefs.But the woman's proposals for her home on Craighill Road, near Glasgow Road, have been rejected.Last week, David McDowall, East Ayrshire Council's interim head of planning and economic development, said blueprints were contrary to four East Ayrshire local development plan policy points.He said that the development was not fully compatible with neighbouring uses and the proposed use doesn't comply with relevant local development plans.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all.
