Gemma Atkinson has asked if there's a 'simpler' solution after being advised how to deal with her daughter's tantrums. The actress was chatting to Mike Toolan on their Hits Radio show last week when she spoke about Mia's 'terrible twos'.

Gemma shares toddler Mia, who turns three in July, with her Strictly Come Dancing star beau Gorka Marquez. The 37-year-old, from Bury, regularly shares honest mum updates on social media as well as other life updates. "Obviously I've got a little girl, Mia, who's two...

three in July so not long," Gemma begin to say in the clip posted to Hits Radio's social channels. "Everyone said to me, 'oh, terrible twos,' and I thought no, that's just something mums and dads say. "It ain't...

it's real." Mike agreed: "It's a thing." Gemma went on: "It's hit me. The other day we were coming out of Tesco and she wanted a magazine. "It was like £4.50 for this tiny magazine and I said, 'You can't just have that, no you're not having it'. "So, of course, she kicked off, stiffened herself while I was trying to put her into the car seat. "Meanwhile, I've got a wet back with swear, I'm bright red with embarrassment because there's people walking past. "It's looking like she's not my child and I'm trying to force her in the car." Mike then suggested: "What you do is, you and Gorka need to have another kid and then you can use Mia as a helper, like third parent, and that'll focus her mind." Gemma looked unsure at his suggestion and replied: "Is there nothing simpler," as the studio erupted into laughter.
