Keri Hilson was on a fast track to fame when she seemingly fell from grace because of a diss toward Queen Bey. Years later, she’s finally clearing the air about that track.

Keri angered the Beyhive and Ciara fans when she sang the lyrics ‘you can dance, she can sing but need to move it to the left’ and ‘go sit down and have babies.’ The leaked remix had the industry and fans confused as to why Keri would start drama with the other artists.

This ultimately hurt her career. During a chat with Claudia Jordan on Fox Soul, she revealed that she doesn’t play dirty and she didn’t write the lyrics.

However, since she was young and new to Hollywood — she didn’t know how to handle it. ‘Was not my lyrics, was not my writing, was not my doing.
