Judi Dench once made Lesley Manville wet herself on stage: ‘It gets worse’

She’s pretending that she’s being pleasured by somebody from behind.”The 66-year-old actress said that she remembers “desperately trying not to laugh,” but eventually gave in but not before wetting herself in front of the audience. “It gets worse,” jokes Manville. “The stage was raked so I watched my piss trickle down … If you were in the front row you’d have seen it go over the edge.”Manville, who had just given birth, blamed the accident on pelvic floor, and also credited the layered dress she wore on stage for saving her from an embarrassing situation.
