The 38 year spoke about her hospital visit on Wednesday's This Morning when she presented the ITV show with Craig Doyle. She said: "I had to go to A&E last Friday and I've never seen A&E so busy in my whole entire life." She added: "The queues were out the door and you could see everybody was just rushing around, doing the best that they could do." Josie didn't reveal any more details about her hospital trip.
Vanessa Feltz joined Craig and Josie on the show and said of the junior doctors’ three day strike: "You've got to feel immensely, not just for the people who are marooned in hospital over Christmas - how sad and awful.
But also for all the nurses and all the staff who are going to have to look after all these extra patients over Christmas because of this. "This is just bad all the way across the board. "When people talk about the NHS being broken, not a phrase anyone utters lightly, this is kind of an example of everything imploding at once in the worst way." Josie returned to her hosting job on This Morning this week after her stint in the Australian jungle, where she came in fourth place.
