‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Director Todd Phillips Offers Three Images Of Joaquin Phoenix And Lady Gaga, Hints At Trailer Release Date

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Joker: Folie à Deux film director Todd Phillips offered three images featuring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in character, adding the caption to the post: “Hoping your day is full of love.” An official trailer is expected in mid-April, Phillips noted in the comments.
The Warner Bros. film is currently scheduled for an October release. The film’s plot has been largely kept under wraps, although it’s billed as a drama with musical elements set in and around Arkham Asylum.
The cast includes Zazie Beetz (returning from the first Joker film), Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey.
The first Joker film in 2019 grossed more than $1 billion worldwide to become the highest-grossing R-rated release in box office history.
