Defender John Souttar has reportedly been cut from the Scotland Euro 2024 squad. National boss Steve Clarke had to leave out two before Friday night's pre-tournament deadline with the friendly clash with Finland at Hampden set to be the final send-off from the Tartan Army before the opening fixture with Germany.
Boss Clarke has opted to take five centre-back options in Liam Cooper, Jack Hendry, Grant Hanley, Scott McKenna and Ryan Porteous.
Kieran Tierney also plays on the left-side of a defensive three for his country - and the Sun report this had lead to Rangers star Souttar being deemed surplus to requirements.Record Sport also understands that Craig Gordon is to miss out.
Clarke had named four keepers for the friendly in Gibraltar but is only going to take three to the tournament - with Angus Gunn, Zander Clark and Liam Kelly being named over Hearts veteran Gordon.
