John Lewis announce reopening dates for two of their Scottish shops

lockdown restrictions begin to ease. The high street retailer was forced to close, along with a raft of other businesses, when stay at home lockdown restrictions were imposed in Scotland on Boxing Day last year.

But the Scottish Government has given non-essential retailers the green light reopen across the country from April 26. John Lewis said that its Glasgow branch will welcome customers back once again from that date.

The firm’s shop in Edinburgh will open back up on the later May 14 date, it has been confirmed. Both stores will reopen with enhanced hygiene measures, social distancing and mask wearing.But shoppers and John Lewis workers in Aberdeen were dealt a blow as it was revealed that the branch in the Granite City would not reopen.
