Genesis GV60 electric crossover heading to UK

GENESIS has confirmed that the GV60 family-sized crossover – its first electric car for Europe – will be available to pre-order soon.

And while pricing and spec details have still to be released, the luxury Korean brand’s coupe-SUV is likely to hit UK roads later this year.

It is based on a dedicated platform, allowing up to 321 miles of range with the Premium model, which is powered by a 168kW single motor and focussed on range capability.There’s also a Sport version – an all-wheel-drive variant powered by 160kW and 74kW motors – and Sport Plus, which is a punchy 160kW and 160kW dual-motor AWD machine.The latter comes with a unique Drift Mode and a Boost Mode that adds a 10-second power boost of 20kW plus 20kW, offering the most dynamic GV60 experience.Genesis says the car’s next-generation technology will provide a unique electric car experience, with advanced driver safety systems, stunning dual 12.3in infotainment/driver screens, wireless phone charging and a host of high-end options to customise the car.
