The Scots firefighter got a respectable £4,000 in the cash-building round during the ITV quiz show hosted by Bradley Walsh. However, it wasn't enough for the 53-year-old when it came to facing the Chaser.Tam quipped: "You're only here once aren't you," as he was faced with sticking to his £4,000, taking the lower offer or aiming high at the £44,000 presented to him.
He was hailed as "brave" by Darragh Ennis, known as 'The Menace.'Having been quizzed on what he would spend the money on, Tam gushed over his five grandkids.
He said: "They won't forgive me if I don't name them," as he gave them all a shoutout and explained he would be hoping to cash in on the gameshow to take them all to Disneyland.
