Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine, who played Fiz Stape on the soap since 2001, has credited a few simple tricks to keeping fit.
The actress has dropped three dress sizes in recent years.The mum-of-three explained she ended up cutting crisps and ice cream out of her diet which were big trigger foods.
Jennie also says she enjoys a game of boxing on the Wii console as a fun way to keep in shape.Admitting a lot of her lifestyle change was down to "common sense" the soap star opened up previously about her weight loss and explained that the key to getting healthy is to "trust what you think is good or bad for you".She said: "I don't go in for all the diet plans and worrying yourself silly over how much you weigh.
Ice cream is bad, salad is good it's not rocket science. If you eat more of the good stuff and take more exercise then you'll lose weight."The much-loved Corrie icon also mentioned that she doesn't stress too much about diets despite her weight loss, reports OK!Jennie added: "It's really not worth beating yourself up over it.
