A teenager who had to climb more than 200ft down The Big One rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach after it stopped has spoken of being so cold it 'hurt to walk'.

Owen Miller, from Middlesbrough, visited Lancashire last week with two pals. On Thursday, the last day of their trip, the friends went to the Pleasure Beach, LancsLive reports.

Owen's two friends didn't dare brave The Big One so he queued up on his own. After he got to the front of the lengthy queue the 19-year-old took his seat and the ride set off.
