Lanarkshire.Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene at the Walton Burn near Castlecary this afternoon. The woman was rescued from the water and rushed by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.A Police Scotland spokesman told the Record: "At around 3:40pm on Thursday, June 11, police were made aware of female falling into water at Walton Burn, near Castlecary."Emergency services attended and the female was recovered and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she will be treated for her injuries."Officers say they have no information of the victim's age at this time.Several fire engines, as well as a specialist water team and air ambulance were called to the gorge.A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and.
