Emmerdale star Rebecca Sarker 'signs up' for gruelling Olympics-style show

Celebrities have been rapidly signing up for Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff's new ITV show The Real Games, with Love Island star Olivia Attwood, TOWIE's Mark Wright, Coronation Street's Colson Smith and Christine McGuinness all set to compete.

The Olympic-themed show will see stars going head to head in a range of high-intensity sporting challenges, and now, OK! can reveal that Emmerdale's Rebecca Sarker - who is best known as the soap's Manpreet Jutla - is also going to be competing on the programme.

A source told us: "The producers of The Games were delighted to secure Rebecca Sarker. She is one of the female leads in Emmerdale and currently involved in some incredible and nail-biting story lines. "Rebecca has been hailed ‘the fittest woman in TV’ after posting a behind the scenes snap of her ripped body and six pack. "Rebecca is fitness obsessed and at the age of 47, she is determined to give the younger contestants a run for their money." OK!

approached Rebecca's representatives for comment. Rebecca, 47, is in the perfect person to be going head to head with other TV stars, as she previously showed off her abs in a selfie, which was taken in her trailer during the filming of Super Soap Week.
