A house where an entire family was brutally murdered more than 20 years ago is on the market. The three-bed semi-detached house in Clydach, Swansea Valley, has just come on to the market with an asking price of over £175,000.
The property at Number 9, Kelvin Road was home to 34-year-old Mandy Power, her 80-year-old mum Doris and her two young daughters Katie, 10 and Emily, eight.
All four were killed in the house on June 27, 1999, and the property was then set on fire, Wales Online reports . However, what was believed to be an attempt to destroy evidence was unsuccessful due to the rapid response of firefighters, who were able to extinguish the blaze.
The horror crime sent shockwaves throughout the UK and prompted one of the biggest murder investigations by the Welsh police force .
