Headteachers and parents are 'crying out for help' with more and more children being sent home from schools in Greater Manchester.
With the number of bubble closures still rising across the region, it's becoming 'almost impossible for headteachers and teachers to manage' and a huge problem for parents who keep needing to take time off work.
At today's weekly press conference with Mayor Andy Burnham and Manchester council leader Sir Richard Leese, they said the situation in Manchester, where 2,000 children are now isolating, and in Oldham, where the figure is 3,000, is the same across the other areas of the region.
