The driver of a Glasgow bin lorry which killed six people when it careered out of control can now apply to get his driving licence back after his road ban expired this month.
Shamed ex- council worker Harry Clarke's three-year penalty for breaking a previous sanction ended on April 1. The 62-year-old was caught driving a car while banned nine months after the refuse lorry tragedy, which happened just days before Christmas in 2014.
Clarke admitted culpable and reckless driving outside his home in Baillieston, Glasgow, but dodged jail.
