It's been reported the future of Giovanni Pernice on Strictly Come Dancing is still being assessed, following claims that a fourth celebrity was left in tears due to the intensity of their training with him.

The talented Italian dancer, 33, has been part of Strictly's professional line-up since joining in the show's 13th season back in 2015.However, his 2023 partner Amanda Abbington's decision to depart the series early due to injury led to whispers that previous partners found it tough to keep up with him.

Some co-stars have suggested that Giovanni is too "intense" to train and dance with, sparking concerns he might not be invited back for the 2024 season.

Despite the claims, it appears the BBC are standing strong by the pro-dancer, according to the latest reports. Adding fuel to the flames, it has been reported that a meeting took place between Amanda, 52, and past participants Ranvir Singh and Laura Whitmore, discussing their experiences working with Giovanni, reports the Mirror. There are also fresh claims that Steps star Faye Tozer had difficulty working with him, reportedly ending up in tears after appearing alongside him on the Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two.
