Garrett Clayton To Star In Coming-Out Story ‘Our Family Pride’
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Garrett Clayton(Teen Beach Movie) has signed on to star in the feature film, Our Family Pride, a coming-out story from writer-director-actor Glen Evelyn.
Based on the filmmaker’s real-life events, Our Family Pride tells the personal journey of a family that comes together through conflict and difficult times, amid finding out their father is gay later in life.
Mike (Clayton), along with his mother and siblings, must confront this new reality as well as their own personal struggles on the path to acceptance.
Pic is slated to start shooting later this month in Florida’s Palm Beaches and Ft. Lauderdale areas. The film also stars Chad Ridgely (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), William Mark McCullough (Manhunt), and Rachel Alig (The Cleaning Lady).
