Free meal service in 'desperate need' for drivers as they expand into Lanarkshire

A service that provides free meals is desperately looking for drivers as they look to expand into Wishaw, Motherwell, Newmains and Hamilton.Since late 2020, 'Food For Scotland' has helped deliver 18,000 meals to people across the Clydesdale area but now hopes to expand its service.Started by Ramunas Bucinskas as a way of making sure the local community was cared for, 'Food For Scotland' delivers hot meals daily to those who need them.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

He told Lanarkshire Live : "I started the project in late 2020 after seeing the effects of lockdown and self-isolation which meant people were sometimes needing a helping hand.
