Radio DJ Adele Roberts was left in tears after watching a video of the late Tom Parker as she enters her final round of chemotherapy in her own battle against bowel cancer.The Wanted's Tom, 33, passed away from brain cancer in March and a teary-eyed Adele shared an update of her own cancer journey after watching a video of the late star.

Adele, 43, has been candid about her battle with bowel cancer after she revealed her diagnosis in October 2021 and she shared with fans that she wished she could have met the late Tom before his death earlier this year.

Sharing a video update to her 180,000 Instagram followers, Adele said: "So just been to the gym this morning to prepare my body for the..." The radio DJ was left choking up as she spoke, before she continued: "Sorry, my final round of chemotherapy.

I'm just upset because I've been watching a video about Tom Parker from The Wanted. "I'm just really sad for him that he's passed away but I was just saying on my Facebook page that I wish I could have met him in real life. "Just to thank him for the strength that he's given me and also all the wonderful people on Instagram who have been good to me and, of course, you Katie." Adele and her actress girlfriend Kate Holderness, 37, who she affectionately calls Katie, have been open in sharing their journey amid the former Big Brother star's cancer battle.
