Former North Lanarkshire Council leader charged with sexual offences

A former North Lanarkshire Council leader has been arrested and charged with sexual offences. Jordan Linden, who was forced to quit as council leader back in 2022, was charged in connection with offences committed at a number of locations across the country.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live: “A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of non-recent sexual offences committed at various locations in Scotland.
