The new docudrama, Blood, Sex and Royalty, hits Netflix on November 23 focussing on the high-stakes story of Anne Boleyn and her romance with King Henry VII.
Taking on the role of Henry is Emmerdale's Max Parker, while Anne is played by Amy James Jelly who is known for her role in Coronation street.
Max looks world's away from his character Luke Posner in the first-look trailer for the series. In the clip, Max can be seen in regal garb with golden chains around his neck as he loses control as the King and snaps at his wife, Anne.
