An energy company is seeking permission to update signs at a high-tech facility in Cumbernauld.Scottish and Southern Energy has requested North Lanarkshire Council give the go-ahead to install or replace four illuminated signs at its National HVDC Centre, which is used to simulate various scenarios affecting the UK national grid.The centre was opened in 2017 by Jamie Hepburn MSP, who was at the time Minister for Employability and Training as well as the local constituency representative.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
