Emmerdale star rushed to hospital after accident on set
ok.co.ukEmmerdale actress Charlotte Bellamy has suffered a dramatic accident on set that saw her rushed to A&E. The 51-year-old star chopped off the top of her finger while shooting a scene as Laurel Thomas and had to be taken to hospital.
Charlotte was on Lorraine to talk about tonight’s dramatic episde of Emmerdale, however the discussion took a turn when Charlotte revealed the time she was rushed to A&E after an accident on set.
Charlotte told Lorraine: “So during filming I was making a bolognaise, as you do, with a very blunt knife. And on the take, I chopped the top of my finger off.
But at the time, I was pretending to be pregnant as Laurel, and so I had to get rushed into A&E with the prop man." Charlotte continued to say: “They were so confused and worried about my baby, but obviously my baby wasn’t real.
