Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Ed Sheeran on terrifying car ride - 'That was f***ed up!'

Ed Sheeran was left terrified after being taken out for a drive by Formula One driver George Russell.The Perfect singer was one of many A-listers attending the Miami Grand Prix weekend.The singer got to meet up with British driver George, who took him on a hot lap around the Miami circuit.

While Ed was excited to take part in the experience, his enthusiasm soon turned to fear as he was left terrified by the thrilling experience.

George told Ed before setting off: "You can do one of two things, you can go fast or you can go sideways," to which the star had confidently replied: "A bit of both." But as the engines revved up and George drove the car to speeds of up to 210 miles per hour, Ed was left looking petrified.

As George regularly checked up on Ed to see if he was okay, the singer admitted that he was 'lying' as he told the Formula One star he was fine. "Oh my god," the star then exclaimed during the drive, before swearing and saying: "I can't believe you do that day in, day out." At the end of the ride, Ed declared that the terrifying car ride was "f***ed up," adding: "I found the acceleration worse than the brakes because the brake was like, 'I am now safe!'" It comes the popstar called up his favourite team, Ipswich, to celebrate their promotion to the Premier League by promising a night out with the players.
