Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

DWP will decide this week if you'll get Winter Fuel Payment worth up to £300

As the weather gets nippier in the coming months and the heating gets cranked up, many worry about their fuel bills. And the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is set to decide this week who will be eligible for the Winter Fuel Payment, which could be worth up to £300.

Previously, anyone above state pension age would receive the Winter Fuel Payments, but now only those on means-tested benefits including Pension Credit will qualify.The crucial week to be claiming these benefits falls within this week.To be eligible for a Winter Fuel Payment this year, you must have been born before September 23, 1958, and be claiming one of the following benefits between September 16 and September 22, 2024, reports the Mirror: Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, Pension Credit, Universal Credit.

However, if you lived in a care home for the entire duration from June 24 to September 22, 2024, you won't be entitled to a Winter Fuel Payment.

You can still qualify if your stay in a care home is temporary, less than 13 weeks by the end of the qualifying period. You also won't be eligible if you've been in hospital receiving free treatment for more than a year, if you needed permission to enter the UK and your granted leave states that you cannot claim public funds, or if you are in prison for the entire week of September 16 to September 22, 2024.
