The Department for Work and Pensions has issued a warning that changes will be made to benefit and credit payments on Monday, September 19.
This is due to the fact that Queen Elizabeth II's funeral is set to take place on Monday, which has now been designated a bank holiday.
Because of this, the DWP has announced that many claimants will be receiving their payments early. Now, benefits and credits will be paid on Friday, September 16 - the last working day before the bank holiday Monday.
The DWP said: "The Department for Work and Pensions and HM Revenue and Customs have put arrangements in place to ensure all benefits and credits due to be paid on this date – now a bank holiday for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral - will be delivered in advance.
