Disco legends to headline family-friendly festival near Stockport

American disco legends are headlining a popular, family-friendly festival just a stone's throw from Stockport. Poynton in the Park is returning this year and is being held on Saturday, June 8.

The headliners are Odyssey, who formed in New York in the 1970s. They will perform all their biggest disco classics live including top five hits Native New Yorker, Inside Out, disco anthem Going Back to My Roots and the UK number one Use it Up & Wear it Out.

Local festival organiser Max Eden is working alongside event founders Poynton Rotary Club to put on this year's incarnation of the event, which raises funds for local causes, at Poynton Park.As well as the music, they are also promising traditional funfair rides and local food and drinks stalls at the 'refreshed and updated event for all the family to enjoy.'
